Canada Day,
by being inducted into Milton's Walk of Fame.The walk itself has not been completed but will be in a glass covered walk way connecting the old town hall with the new expanded building. There were 27 Miltonians inducted on July 1. David was unable to attend however, his brother James (Jim) and his niece Bianca were there to accept on David's behalf. It is apparent that good looks run in the family.
Prior to the ceremony, there was a convertible parade with all of the inductees....
How cool is that?? I can picture David seated in that car.
At the ceremony, Bianca gave the acceptance speech for David. She called him Uncle Dave. His brother spoke for a moment first and all I can say is what a hoot and that I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night! (This will be more clear when you watch the video.)
