D) David James Elliott
Intro Host) And it seems Jason knows all the cool places to hang out, like the down home digs of JAG star David James Elliott. Don't worry -- we were invited along.
J) David James Elliott wore his military whites for 10 years on JAG, but he'll soon dress the part of an Assistant DA on the CBS show Close To Home.
D) I don't have the burden of carrying the entire show, like I did on JAG. So it was that, and the character was such a rich character.
J) Not being the lead means David has more family time, and time to adjust to his new TV clan.
D) It's like walking into a whole new family, but they've been very nice and very accommodating.
J) And David is pretty hospitable himself when it comes to showing off his cozy LA casa.
D) Hey, E! -- why don't you come on a tour of my house with me. Let's go. Alright, E! -- we're here in my kitchen. As you can see, I've changed. I didn't like the vibe of that last shirt. We've got the double refrigerator/freezer that's subzero, 'cause we're all about food here in the Elliott household. This is the indoor grill. Sometimes, you know, during the winter, you don't feel like barbecuing, and we got this baby here. Pops open.. There's the chimney -- shoots straight up. And we've got the indoor barbecue. It's a nice thing to have in your kitchen. Why don't you come into the bedroom. "Hey, come on in". Oh, my God, look what's on TV. How odd. The only channel I watch -- E! News. It's nice (the bedroom). It opens up into the back yard. Got our own private little patio there. A lot of closet space in this room. Let me show you. Look -- old JAG uniforms. Gee, I wonder if they noticed they were missing?! Thanks, E! for stopping by. I'll be watching you.
