JAG: Mr. Rabb Goes to Washington

Airdate: November 10, 1998. Part 1 of 2. Part 2 is People v. Mac

A reputable television reporter's sensational story accuses the U.S. military of chemical warfare - using sarin gas on fellow Americans during the Gulf War. He has a videotape from the mission and eyewitnesses to support the story. Congresswoman Bobbi Latham seizes the occasion to make political hay. She calls a congressional hearing and borrows Harm as her "truth-meter" to help her at the hearing. But Harm's passion for truth soon gets in the way of politics. When he presents Bobbi with the uncut videotape of the mission and the truth, she has to cut her losses and change her tack. Meanwhile, back at JAG HQ, Mac's secret ex-con husband shows up to blackmail her, and an Australian exchange officer, Lt.Commander Mic Brumby, arrives.
Note:Part of this episode was shot on location, in Washington, D.C.
Harm's lobster oven mitts were ostensibly a Christmas present from Harriet Sims. They are knitted, and apparently took some industrious soul only one week to make.
