Synopsis:  Chris Paget is the lead defense lawyer in a high-profile murder case. Also on the defense team is Terri Peralta, a beautiful young attorney who is embroiled in a battle of her own, with her psychopathic and estranged husband. As the trial heats up, so does the relationship between Chris and Terri... but then Terri's husband turns up dead, and Chris is accused of murder. Suddenly, the tables are turned, and the lawyer becomes the defendant. With each shocking twist, the verdict on DEGREE OF GUILT becomes clear.

This 1995 2 part mini-series was based on two novels by Richard North Patterson: "Degree of Guilt" and "Eyes of a Child". DJE played lawyer Christopher Paget. The mini-series was filmed in Toronto, Canada.
