Code 11-14
Original Airdate: August 24, 2003

David James Elliott stars as Kurt Novack, FBI agent on the trail of a serial killer. DJE's wife Nanci Chambers plays FBI profiler Andrea McInroy.  Kurt's team is investigating a series of murders all over the United States, all with the same M.O.  He receives word that Australian police has a suspect in custody. Kurt is sent to Sydney to sit in on the interrogation. He decides to take his wife (Terry Farrell of Becker) and son along for a family vacation on the side. On the flight home to Los Angeles, the murder of a fellow passenger makes Kurt and family realize that the Australian police do not have the killer. The killer is on board their plane and he is targeting them.

*"Code 11-14" is airline-speak for "dead body on board".

**This made-for-TV movie was filmed in Australia over a 3-week period during the 2001 JAG hiatus (May-June).  It was intended for the CBS 2001-2002 TV season. However, CBS felt the story of a serial killer aboard a passenger airplane was not suitable entertainment after 9/11. So the thriller was shelved indefinitely.  Code 11-14 found its way onto the CBS schedule in April 2003, but was again bumped, this time by the American invasion of Iraq.  More than 2 years after it was made, Code 11-14 finally aired in August 2003.
