Dark Justice: Needy Things
June 5, 1992
Season 2 - Ep 7
Show Summary: Nicholas "Nick" Marshall is a young, but respected judge who has made himself a name. He was once a defender, however, his trust in law and order was shaken when his wife and daughter were killed by a car bomb which was actually intended for him, and the criminals get away with impunity. Determined to bring the culprits to court and to hunt other criminals as well, Nick is now leading a double life. If he must allow a criminal to go free even though he knows that he is guilty, he tells him that "indeed, justice is sometimes blind, but it can also see in the darkness". The criminals are normally deaf to his speech and do not mind, in their arrogance, such words. By night Nick Marshall removes his glasses, lets his long, black, and usually tied together, hair fall loose, he puts on his leather jacket and rides a motorcycle on his gangster's hunt.
In this episode, David James Elliott guest-stars as Zachary Hamilton, a murderous gigolo who preys on the lonely wives of big corporate executives. He seduces them, then blackmails them for stock market insider information. When the women do not co-operate, he kills them. The Dark Justice teams steps in with a sting and Zach gets 'his' justice in the end.
