Annabeth prosecutes the dean of a prestigious prep school for the murder of his Russian wife who he met on the internet. cbs.com
Ed briefs Conlon and Maureen on the initial findings of the case.
Further dicussion; Ed questions why Rooney went to the internet for a wife and Mo said "Maybe he was looking for an old world wife, grateful, submissive, always at his beck and call" ... Conlon says "sounds like my ex - NOT".
Evidence, motive, witnesses .... Conlon advises "Our story has to be better than their story"
A little down time ... Conlon isn't playing due to a 'bad knee', he does, however, have a replacement... NBA star Reggie Miller.
Conlon comes to Annabeth's office to inform her of the defense attorney, Ramont's, latest tactic.
Conlon questions Mo on how she is doing on the Bishop appeal. (Bishop is the driver that killed Annabeth's husband.)
Conlon joins the ladies over lunch. He backs up Maureen saying that she "kicked ass" at the appeal hearing. He reminds her that they knew going in that it was a long shot but reassures her that it is not going away. He changes the subject and tells Annabeth that he wants to 'cross' the expert witness. She thinks he is 'handling' her but he insists that he "wants in."
Conlon takes on the 'expert witness'. Go Jimmy!
Conlon sends Ray to NYC to see a cardiologist... Ray insists he is fine but Conlon says "This is me...I was there in the Lenox Hill ER when it was touch and go, remember?" Ray is worried about when others find out... Conlon answers "You are visiting your sister"
