Episode #26; 2-4
While prosecuting a meth addict for the murder of a young woman, the D.A.'s office comes upon another suspect who has the same modus operandi as a dormant serial killer who victimized women for years.
Conlon's office, discussing the case.
Conlon is not convinced that Kale is the serial killer...
Ray and Ed bring new info regarding Kale to Conlon.
Conlon feels it is too risky to charge Kale with the 'Professor' killings, Ed disagrees and confronts him.
Someone leaks to the paper that Conlon is letting a serial killer slip through his fingers... Conlon suspects Ed.
Annabeth convinces Conlon that perhaps it wasn't Ed - that it might have actually been Kale. Conlon decides to indict Kale on the serial killings. And... Conlon wants a press conference.
In Court ...
walking the hall and discussing the case... Kale wants to deal
Annabeth thinks the 'deal' is disgusting. Conlon presses her. It is too risky to go in front of a jury, he says. She wants to talk to the daughter - she thinks she can get Kale with out the deal. Conlon says she has until 5:00 pm then he wants the signed deal on his desk.
