Hot stuff, husky bruiser David Elliott is raising the temprature on Street Legal (CBC-TV) as the undercover cop who captures a woman lawyer's heart. Elliott, 29, born in Milton, Ont. has been raising the heat wherever he's played, notably as a male stripper in the hit B-Movie: The Play. Elliott has something of the earthiness of the young Burt Reynolds and he KO's the notion that Canadians don't breed hunks. Meanwhile, Street Legals ratings have bumped up 100,000 since he hit the show running.
