David-a-thon 2008
11/5/08 Update:
First- let me congratulate the winners of the first set of auctions and say THANK YOU for the support. Winners can pay with paypal (djeraffle@comcast.net) or by check to the address on the order form. I will be posting a few more auction items over the weekend and also will put up our two Christmas auctions next week. (Can you believe Christmas is only 6 weeks away!!) Auction photos below.
I also want to let you know that a number of items will go into the mail Tuesday and the first mailing of Calendars will happen next week as well. I will only be mailing David and Harm calendars. I am waiting a bit on the shipper calendars to hopefully take advantage of the quantity discount. So, if you plan on ordering a shipper calendar, please do so soon so I can get them ordered. I will place an order - not to worry those of you that have placed orders - it's just if a few more orders come in we make the cut off for the discount so I'll wait a bit to see. The TRT calendar as you know won't happen until the first of the year. The last day for orders to be received for a Christmas/New Years Day delivery is December 5th. After that it will definitely be after Christmas and potentially a few days into the New Year before you receive the calendar. Like last year I will place one last order at the end of December early January for all you true procrastinators.
The cut off date for ordering Dog Tags, cubes, raffle tickets etc. is also Dec 5th. That way I should be able to get things out before Christmas and not add too much stress to my own Holidays. That would be a good thing. :) I will pull the winners of the raffles on Tuesday, Dec 9th.
I will also be adding some more titles to the DVD share list. And yes, The Guard is a part of that.
There will also be a couple more trivia contests to play through the month of November. In fact here is Trivia #2
So, make your Christmas lists and get your orders in -- treat yourself to a little David and do some good at the same time. Thanks so much to those of you that have already placed orders. Your support of our efforts means so much and as usual your generosity is tremendous.

SueM and I (my partner in crime on these Charity events) are very excited about this years event. Probably because we are so excited about the charities to benefit. As always we will fund the Stratford Bursary and the remaining funds will go to Camp Thunderbird, the camp from David's movie The Rainbow Tribe. I am working with Dan Frisch the writer/producer of The Rainbow Tribe to determine the best use of the funds at the Camp to not only benefit the camp but to honor Jim Rosenberg as we honor David's performance as we always do. David said he had the "best time working on the Rainbow Tribe" and knowing his commitment to the movie tells me that when he learns of our efforts he will be pleased as well.
