Protectors of Freedom

I thought as we celebrate Memorial Day today we could do so with some words from the man we all admire so greatly .... David James Elliott. This is a photograph that he took as part of a charity event he participated in years ago with a number of other celebrities. The 'assignment' if you will was to take a picture of what 'Freedom' means to you. The words David wrote to accompany the photograph are below the pic.

"The hallowed ground of a military graveyard, the final resting place of those who gave their lives so that you and I might be able to live as freely as this life will allow. And even more perfectly, they who have been embraced by the great mystery are the only ones who truly know freedom.
